In between all of that the individual episodes 18 of S1(vol 6 ch 5) & 28 of S2 (vol 10 ch 4) where the only other times where the anime condensed the source the least

A bit of a fun fact: Vol 14 which was covered in episodes 42-46 is only stretch of weeks where anime was a near 1:1 adaptation of the books since episodes 1-11 of S1 which did Arc 2 (vol 2-3)

Anyhow I already feel like I might have said too much, but really its kind of moment you have to experience for yourself. I'm super excited for how this gonna play out & hope these endearing & lovable kids here make it out of this twisted place in one piece

So everything they said & did until then I think they truly believe in but they don't feel those ideals apply to themselves because they have chosen abandoned happiness in their future for forfilling this deep seeded revenge

And all stuff I felt uncomfortable or wary about in this setting is finally vindicated when that shoe drops! The other great thing about twist regarding certain character is doesn't really upend their personally as much adds another layer to them
