My own little take on the Skullcrawler.

I reimagined it as a gigantic amphibious invertebrate sea monster, like C-Rex from the ‘98 animated Godzilla series.

May or may not use this in a future Godzilla-related fan project...

Memo to future writers/directors: If you’re gonna make a movie about a lost island full of dinosaurs, don’t call it “Dinosaur Island”.

It’s painfully generic and we already have a dozen films with that same title.

Please pardon me. I just suddenly had the urge to draw the T.rex from the original JP novel, and I needed to scratch it.

A new birthday present arrived this afternoon.

Finally got a copy of @TedRechlin and @rextoothstudios’ graphic novel about @SUEtheTrex. I’ve been dying to get this book for ages, and it does not disappoint. As a dinosaur fanatic, I absolutely love and am enthralled by it.

I just found out that famed paleoartist Brian Franczak had passed away only a few weeks ago.

His work has been a huge source of inspiration to me and many others. May he be remembered and celebrated as one of the greatest illustrators who ever lived.

May he rest in peace.
