The real disappointment (for me at least) is that they wasted a perfect opportunity to include a scene of a T.Rex fighting Triceratops. That would both be much cooler and more accurate than fighting the Giga in the Cretaceous!

It’s especially tragic just how many top-tier dinosaur artists got involved with this film, only for their work to never get used. Pete Von Sholly, William Stout, Ricardo Delgado, Doug-FUCKING-Henderson! All of them did amazing work for this project, but none of it made it.

Some color concepts for my take on Gorosaurus. I reimagined as a giganotosaurine, more specifically direct descendant of Mapusaurus.
I’ve started developing my rendition of the good ol’ Anguirus. I envisioned him as a derived omnivorous descendant of Ankylosaurus. His design here is mainly based off the Singular Point version, though I also took inspiration from the one in Matt Frank’s Godzilla Neo series.
Reminder that AGE OF THE GREAT DINOSAURS had the most unnecessarily violent and traumatic deaths.
