3: The Last Morning
T- 1 hour to Impact.
As dawn breaks on the last day of the Cretaceous, what looks like a second sun flashes in the sky. In the American Southwest, a herd of Alamosaurus browse the edge of a forest while Ojoceratops graze. Birds and pterosaurs soar overhead.
I just love how this book is loaded with all this overt pop culture references while at the same time boasting some darn fine paleoart scenes and reconstructions. Never thought I’d see something like this in a paleontology book.
The Cartoon Guide to The Dinosaurs is just such a fun piece of work. I really wish we could get an English edition of it available. This shit is just too good.

A couple sketches of some Carnotaurus inspired by the recent integument sample find.
I used @Philoceratops’ little PSA as an additional guide.
Shin Godzilla is one of my top 5 favorite Godzilla movies. It’s a unique film that’s aged quite well and I’ll never forget shocked and engrossed I was when I first saw it.
Happy 5th Anniversary, #ShinGodzilla!
This show was on the verge of something truly epic, but Netflix just had to foul it all up!
GIVE US A SECOND SEASON YOU BASTARDS! https://t.co/wSawIdyw3j
