So I made it to Tokyo safe and sound yesterday, and earlier today I visited the Tokyo Sea Life Park in Edogawa. Got there pretty late, but I managed to see practically everything they had.

Here are some photos I took of the first two tanks displayed in the main building.

I admit I haven’t really seen much from the Kamen Rider franchise, but I still thought this was pretty cool. I might watch the older shows and read the manga Ishinomori did sometime in the future.

The seals were moving so fast in and out of the main area of their habitat that it was hard to get a good picture of them.

The complete skeleton and a full-sized reconstruction of Bambiraptor feinbergi in the dinosaur hall at the National Museum of Nature And Science in Ueno, Tokyo.

I found this while at the dinosaur exhibit at the National Museum’s Global Gallery last week.

They had a Deinonychus skeleton run through a rod. You could actually rotate it, and a monitor would show you key bits of its anatomy.

It was almost like using a giant rotisserie XD

The best part was that when night fell, the Godzilla head at the top of the building lit up with sound effects and the Godzilla theme accompanying it.
Hell, even the inside of the mouth lit up, as if it would actually spew out atomic breath! That was something I never expected.
