Today, April 27th, is General Tliltototl's birthday.
I wanted to draw him in the tlacatecatl's everyday attire, rather than the military one.
It was supposed to be a quick and rough doodle, but I ended up detailing it automatically.

Here are some references I used.
Neck ornaments (white and red knot, tied with a thick rope, and bells) were based on #Zapotec urns and depictions of their jaguar deity.
Also, take a look at the first jaguar's paws and the feather head ornaments in codices!

Here's the other character bios I've done so far. All their personal info remains the same, I just added their calendar names with their day signs. (In the case of the Zapotec characters, they're named after the Zapotec sign and not the Nahua equivalent).
