I was inspired by Sarah Lin's Street Cultivation to set a Xianxia-style Progression Fantasy within a non-traditional setting-- in this case, Kyoto 2800 AD.
As a Chinese Medicine practitioner and Wing Chun teacher, I combined a lot of real-world theories into the martial system.
It's taken 10 months, but I finally finished the 1.5 draft of my Cyberpunk/Xianxia mashup, Quantum Cultivation. I have until April 12 to revise before sending it off to the proofreader.

Chapter 12/Behind the Scenes
In this chapter, we're introduce to the Eldaeri, one of two human races not based on a real Earth culture. They escaped the orcs thousands of years ago, and settled on a distant continent where they mingled with elves. (1/2)

Chapter 10 Discussion
This is a brand new chapter, which gives more screen time to Wen-- who readers came to love in Scions of the Black Lotus.
Five years ago today, not knowing what the heck I was doing (but thinking I did), I released my first book, The Dragon Scale Lute; the next three books in the series followed soon afterwards. The cover was all wrong for the target audience...
In retrospect, I should've used the artist's original version, where her boobs were nearly spilling out of her hanfu.
@PetrikReads in yet another book.
(I was prouder of the color blending I did in this one)
