FUUUUCK THE HEARTCRUSH Noland ends up executed as a liar and Calgara dies in a war with people he's never met in the sky, never to be heard of again in the blue sea 😭😭😭 RELIGHT THE FCKING LIGHT OF SHANDORA AAAHHHHHH
I LOVE how they turn from mortal enemies at each others throat to connecting slowly. ALSO ALSO NOLAND LITERALLY LIFTED AN ENTIRE SECTION OF THE ISLAND TO GET OUT AFTER GETTING STUCK LIKE WTTFFF that's one of the best feats of physical strength in the series
They seem to be about even because the only time someone got an upper hand was a back stab by Calgara
Just gonna make a thread of my favourite moments in the Noland/Calgara flashback because I'm fanboying too much right now...
From their introduction theyre both portrayed to be CRAZY strong. Makes you think who will win in a fight, and their rivalry shows from first sight
This body SCREEEAMS "at least commander level" btw
Mf built like a warlord jfc
Noland and Calgara are easily the best characters in one piece introduced in the shortest amount of time, we genuinely forgot how peak they were because of how long ago it was
Oda's cutting off all the fat and getting straight to it (it only feels longer bc of the breaks). What this tells me is either it's not the final fight OR this is gonna be one long ass boss fight with at least 35+ chapters 🤔
Loving Kaido's change of heart about Luffy. He's less arrogant than I thought. Expected him to be in denial about his progress, cry & whine about it but he accepted it quick
BRUH I never caught this but Cindry from Thriller Bark could only cry bc her 'Contract' with Moriah was different. She never forgot her past! I always thought it was bullshit how she 'broke' Moriahs rules but now I know why finally
