This sounds so ridiculous since BB's progression in the story is accepted as that of a villain's (ex. Shigaraki) but imagine for a second IF something came up that ideologically challenged both BB and luffy. Something they both detested. Is it impossible for them to team up?

Their entire interactions are centered around rivalry. BB wouldn't even consider attacking Luffy normally. It was just a "no hard feelings" kind of plan whereas Akainu ideologically believes Luffy (+ all pirates) should be exterminated. In a different world they'd be friends imo

Looking at Luffy & Blackbeard's interactions, they're WAY too ideologically similar to be enemies. I feel like I'm going crazy thinking they might become future allies. Luffy is annoyed at him more like a pesky rat. I'd almost even say if Luffy saw him he wouldn't even fight him

Here's an interesting question: Who do you guys think Luffy 'hates' more, (if any at all) Akainu or Blackbeard? I ask this because I noticed different reactions to each of them

Apparently Marco's fruit is not as OP as I thought. It SEEMS that he has to be covered in flames to avoid fatal attacks. Attacking his human body parts seems to be his weakness. In Phoenix form he can regenerate all damage but in human form a laser beam can be fatal 🤔
