Now Smoker is the most difficult to justify. He's grown to respect luffy over the years, and has since VERY early on started feeling worse and worse about the World government. He was also told by Kuzan about perspective from the "other side" foreshadowing Smoker joining pirates

As for Bon Clay, it's a little easier to explain why he can join. He's on good terms with all strawhats, especially with luffy. The problem with him is that he's stuck in impel down, but as said before, with the capture of Boa, sabo, vivi, we might revisit Impel down soon.

After evaluation, no character introduced in wano or after wano will be the 10th strawhat. This includes Yamato, Otama, and future characters. Yamato MAY be on luffy's ship, but not as a crew member and the same applies for Momo. He's too young and useless compared to other SH's

No matter how well written they are, how baddass or cute they are, they will NEVER be the same as the previous 9 because they joined too late. Something that ALL the strawhats share, even Jinbe, is that they were present during the Paramount war saga (Sabaody to the timeskip)

Shiryu is the only swordsman of the BB crew, has a famed blade AND also the 2nd strongest after BB. Luffy's 2nd strongest is also a swordsman with famed blades. Van auger is a sniper (a very specific role) while ussop is also a sniper. These are the similarities I mean

While it is a no-brainer, he's probably the best out there that can make one piece look like one piece 😂😂😂 even the most talented artists just can't make it look identical. @ringadindons (amazing artist) captures the essence, but feels too "clean" to be One Piece

I've been thinking about this for a bit, but I'm not sure who's stronger..

Jimbei or Hancock?

Isn't this considered praying? Does that mean this is the first time zoro prays (for his Yubashiri sword) and is it character development or an inconsistency?

Now ofcourse theres the argument of how can you become a stronger swordsman if ur not in sword fights? While that is partially true, I DOUBT Roger and Rayleigh ONLY fought swordsmen to get as strong as they were which many people would say were around as strong as mihawk today
