Nope, it’s because they’re all children of Mama. It’s not even obvious, like nobody would’ve guessed these characters are connected based on the design alone. That’s pretty cool, I think.

What I thought was a really nice touch was human Elsa’s last words at the chapel before the curse ritual being a callback to her last words in Arc 4, before her “death” & the curse taking over.

With how the anime connected it to her 1st kill, that line has a triple meaning now!
