Amuck! (1972) Dir: Silvio Amadio
Barbara Bouchet is excellent as a secretary in search of her missing lover who falls down a rabbit hole of kinky seduction & druggy manipulation. Features the Euro sleaze classic Piacere Sequence (Sexually) by Teo Usuelli.

Comic people feel my pain. These Love & Rockets collections are up on eBay at a quarter of normal price. I already own the stories within but not in this square bound format which matches my other L&R collections. Do I bid?
Blood and Black Lace (1964) Dir: Mario Bava
A bold and beautiful movie that mixes glamour and gore with spectacular results. Notable for introducing a number of motifs essential to the Giallo genre including the black gloved, masked killer. #Giallo
Gumshoe (1971) A bingo caller advertises his services as a private eye & becomes embroiled with a gang of gun runners. Finney is superb as the Billy Liar who becomes Sam Spade overnight in this witty & delightful take on the Bogart thrillers that coined the cliches this embraces.
Clegg (1970) A private dick flick where the hero spends his time getting beaten up, smoking nub ends and bedding a bevy of beauties in his grotty flat. Couple this with a voiceover that’s as incompetent as it is inspired and you have an absurd and amusing bruiser of a film.
Full Circle (1977) Following her daughter’s death, Mia Farrow, leaves her husband & moves into a London townhouse that’s haunted by a child with a dark past. It’s a somber & reflective film that doesn’t always hold the attention. The strong denouement is worth your time though.
