An earlier version of Mao Tenza from ⁦⁩’s series. At the time I considered it a “rough version” before the painterly one, but I keep coming back to it - I think there’s a clean simplicity here I can definitely learn from.

I’m often torn between colouring with a painterly finish or a comic lasso+airbrush style. Which do you prefer the look of - the left or the right?
