Just for fun, here are the other 4 profile pics I've used over the years (excluding holiday themed versions).
My girlfriend @DweebCheese tried to teach me how to paint my nails.
I think I could pull off the look if I can ever learn how to not suck at it.
I came up with this concept back when the meme was still relevant, but I didn't think it'd be worth making it.
Now that the meme's long dead, it seems like the perfect time to throw it together. It'll be the perfect start to year 6 of Jimmy D. YTPs.
Should be done later today.
Meen from the very end of the video was intentionally given a color palette and mustache that more closely resembles the AoStH Robotnik.
The only thing I really did in line with the movie version was the fact that I gave him the red goggles.
I needed to draw a frame that was halfway between the one of Link laughing like Meen, and the one of Link just standing there normally. So I did one without a whole lot of effort to make it look nice since it's only used once for 1 frame.
Played at normal speed, it looks fine.
I also made Meen's hand which I was going to use to have him press the button, but I didn't like how it looked so I just used Link's hand from the ending of the opening cutscene in Faces of Evil.
@Dominotalent There's not a single frame of Meen standing straight up and looking to the side, so I had to make my own using another frame as a reference.
The only thing that's completely the same is his coat
1/2
@Dominotalent I had no idea how to replace Robotnik's drones up until I got to that point in editing.
What I came up with was just a simple drone with a bazooka looking weapon duct taped to the bottom. I modeled it in blender and rendered it at 10fps without shading to emulate the CD-i look
@Dominotalent I already shared the Dinner Blaster recreation with the brick hitting Hark, but I also made a version without the brick so I could have the Triforce hit him instead.
Without anything there, it just kinda looks like he's getting shot.
The picture of Link that Meen has on his wall is a CD-i version of a "bootleg Link" originally drawn by @Dominotalent
It was originally just going to be a normal picture of Link, but I thought it'd be funnier with this image.
I like to think that Meen drew it himself.
