I think I made the right call by making Hark's car the same Toyota from the YTP "The King Gets a Car".
I traced over screenshots of the car, and even tacked down the exact make and model to get higher quality reference pictures to make sure I was getting everything right.

I've already shared the Dinner Blaster animation that I made, but I've never shared the CD-i burger that I made. So here's that.
This was traced over the burger picture used in the original Dinner Blaster YTP to preserve authenticity.

These pics of Hark turning were traced over frames from the original trailer. I kinda rushed em so I could have an early version ready to show to DaThings and MasterJoJ back in June/ I always intended to redo them but just never did.
I guess they look ok-ish while in motion.

For starters, this YTP marked the first time I used Harkinian's sprite.
I've never used it before since I didn't like how it uses a different color palette from the cutscenes as well as the fact that his arms are chained to the wall.
So I edited the colors and used Hektan's arm.

I needed a shot of Link laughing, which doesn't happen anywhere in either of the Zelda CD-i games. So I figured that I could just trace over a shot of I. M. Meen laughing and use that.

I like it.

I want to reference Dinner Blaster again in a YTP that I'm working on so I traced over this paint job shot to make it look more like the actual cutscene animations

I tweaked a couple minor things like I did in the other recreation but I overall tried to stay true to the original
