I really like the rough and rustic approach Giffen takes to the comic, with his wild panel borders/layouts, his humorous sound effects & the hand lettered page numbers.

No one can deny this book exudes personality.

Amazing Spider-Man 63 was a good issue. Spencer's run has improved astronomically since Sins Rising onwards. Vicentini's interior art is good too.

All this controversy about white supremacists using the Punisher symbol has got me thinking about that arc by Matt Fraction & Ariel Olivetti where Frank takes on a group of Neo Nazi's who co-opt & twist Captain America's symbol for their own agenda.

Shit was ahead of it's time.
