Fandom character development would be realizing how important Takashi Iizuka was to the development of these games.
Female Rocket Grunt from Gen 2 lookin' like a fusion of Jessie and Cassidy. :)
I miss when PokéManiacs looked either like Orochimaru (gen 1) or an emo kid (gen 2) :P
8. You all saw this one coming over 9000 miles away.
THIS COMIC SERIES IN GENERAL. Wasn't perfect but IDGAF the positives outweigh the negatives by a landslide. Not loyal to any specific era either. Pre-Flynn be underrated tho, especially the Bollers and Gallagher stuff.
Sonic fans don't appreciate Jay Axer enough...
to be fair though, he drew like two MAIN full-length storylines in issues 122-123.
Lot of other times he'd draw just a frontispiece, maybe a few opening pages, or a 5-page backup story
Often, but not always mind you, the main stories
My top four favorite Archie Sonic characters created by Ken Penders are Geoffrey St. John, Julie-Su, Lien-Da, and Elias Acorn

"Line of Succession" is a two-part storyline from a rather infamous period of Archie Sonic's life. The final stretch of Ken Penders' run in 2005.
This is one of those stories that serves as a poster child for the "Archie Sonic is just a furry soap opera" stereotype.

From Antoine to Chadtoine
(Man you can tell Steven Butler drew the one on the right, it's from issue 234, he draws everyone tall and badass as hell I love it so much he's my favorite artist)

"B-buh monarchies and princesses are inherently non-Sonic elements!"
Uhhhhh... how do we tell them?
There's literally two monarchies in the game universe.
PRINCESS Blaze the Cat's Sol Empire, and PRINCESS Elise the Third's Kingdom of Soleanna.
