"Flipper-Free Zone"
This beautiful young woman became the 'scapegoat' for an earlier commission to one of my favourite families. I lost sleep in knowing that the pleasure in the piece was marred by their disappointed of their lovely girl
...slept a bit better after this!

The last of my four bath time naked nymphs done around lockdown, keeping me occupied in between commissions, decorating, plastering, tiling, gardening and breaking backs!

Day 133
Mistress Series - "Somebody to Love"
I'm not a cat person - dogs are definitely my favourite, which was pretty evident with my Mistress paintings. So I decided to put that right with this, my first of feline companions. I thought she turned out pretty "lovable"!

The shower head will have a water fall, but I have to wait till I've resined. The first time I painstakingly applied water drops with liquid rain (medium),I then applied the resin coating...which promptly covered it all!

"Just a Fairy Tale"
December 2018, I painted a Cinderella exactly as I had her in my head. I mixed traditional Disney with a modern film version & made it my own. 5 years before, I struggled to mix any colour that didn't end up muddy brown! Practice, patience, tenacity!

"Viola's Heart"
Not a lover of landscapes but this was a gift for my stepdaughter's birthday. She sent me some pics of paintings that she liked by a Scottish artist (I'm so bad I can't even remember his name!) & asked me if I could put together something like it.

"Giving it Lago" (caught up - again1)
From the "Looking for Bill" series. By now, I'd made this my own style, with my palette & my expression - but the idea always came from Bill Tolley to begin with, so I always ensure he's somewhere in the painting, waving to us!

"Any Other Sundae"
Oh, I LOVED this Mistress. Sometimes, just sometimes, this expressionless creature manages to convey so much! And! As my Mistress should, she leaves you the audience, yet again, to interpret the meaning as you will.
I love this girl - or is she a woman?

I love the fun I have with my Cat & Dogs" series! Apart from the variety of media I manage to include, I just love the antics these pets get up to - particularly the inflated dog.
