"Tea for Two?"
For those of you who've been following my "On a Day" posts, you'll know that recent offerings are my early "Tree of Life" attempts & were greatly influenced by Kerry Darlington
5 years on & I think I can safely say that my current efforts are 100% Josie Lee trees!

Day 53
"Sheep-Dog Trials"
I guess I'd come a little way since my first Bowen look-alike efforts, but this- which was my last - was my favourite. It was also the start of a frantic period of painting for a forthcoming exhibition at Highcliffe Castle & also heralded some diversity.

Day 43
"The Winter Watch"
The 3rd in my winter series. I'm not an animal painter or a landscape artist, but I do love creating woodland scenes with a gathering of creatures, as long as I can add my own of 'Josie Lee' twist fantasy...the dabble of glitz was certainly emerging too!

...meanwhile.
I've been busy with a few commissions that have pushed me right out of my comfort zone - this is the first.

Nothing like my usual style, but a most enjoyable challenge for a delightful family!

Last Owl & Pussycat for a while, but I think these two are an absolute hoot (sorry! Sorry! SORRY!) 😜🤣🙃

Day 22
"Waiting for Jack"
This,THIS was my favourite Mistress! Shapeless, raunchy, provocative, vulnerable & unknown! My props - essential to the mood - took ages to paint & taught me so much about light & dark. Vettriano has his sexy ladies straddling chairs - hence the title!
