Nocturne & Evelynn aren't the only demons that haunt Demacia.

Villages empty overnight, travelers vanish, patrols never report in. An ageless horror out of fables known as Fiddlesticks stalks the hinterlands in the shape of a scarecrow, croaking in the stolen voices of the dead.

It's said Galio sprung to life to defend Demacian soldiers centuries ago, but few realize the truth in this tale.

Exposure to absorbed magic brought the petricite colossus to life, though he slumbers w/o magic to sustain him. He hopes to one day be free of this sleep forever.

The demon who killed the Vaynes is known as Evelynn.

Born from the suffering caused by the Rune Wars, she's been chasing that high ever since. Evelynn lures people in w/ an alluring facade, charming them to do her bidding & tormenting her victims so she can enjoy their pain.

Shauna Vayne is the last member of her noble house, taking up a life as a monster hunter after her parents were murdered by a demon (though few in Demacia believe such a far-fetched tale).

Vayne doesn't hunt because it's the right thing to do, but because it brings her joy.

Sona was a mute orphan brought to Demacia to escape the Noxian invasion of Ionia. Adopted by the Buvelles, she showed her appreciation using the curious instrument she'd been found w/ as a baby.

Lady Lestara discovered that this was an etwahl, a rare & ancient magical artifact.

The Noxians cut him off by seizing the Gates of Mourning, & Prince Jarvan nearly died. But a mysterious stranger named Shyvana rescued him, somehow carrying him over the mountains back to Demacia.

But she was herself pursued by a dragon known as Yvva. This dragon was her mother.

Garen's optimistic sister, Lux, is less willing to follow the family legacy, instead choosing to volunteer with the Illuminators, befriending Kahina Buvelle.

Lux harbors a secret, however: she is a mage. Able to bend & control light, she was ashamed & afraid of this power.

Garen's predecessor died due to neglect of Taric, who valued "fragile wonders that give life meaning" more than king & country.

Unlike most sentenced to the "Crown of Stone", Taric didn't start a new life in exile, but went to atone by climbing Mt. Targon per ancient tradition.

The Vanguard includes:
- Diadoro, swordsman who held the Gates of Mourning against Noxus for an entire day
- Sabator of Jandelle, slayer of the deepwyrm that woke every century to feast
- Varya & Rodian, twins who stopped Freljordian raiders at Dawnhold + burned port of Frostheld

Some say Demacia's golden age has come to an end, however.

King Jarvan III was assassinated by an unknown killer several months ago. Many blame mages, like the recently-escaped Sylas of Dregbourne. Unrest spreads, while Noxus, Freljordian raiders, & worse seek to take advantage.
