Embarrassed to say that my first experience with Urusei Yatsura was through the now-20 year old furry webcomic A Doemain of Our Own.

@mcclure111 Sukeban Deka also got an animated OVA adaptation that is more faithful to the manga and its done in a very Dezaki-esq style.

Specifically, the main antagonist who's basically an old school shoujo protagonist that's secretly a serial killer.
