Had to cut a bunch of great shows and discount films & shorts entirely to narrow it down. Tons of good stuff this year, so you're bound to find something you'll enjoy!

Star Wars Visions definitely felt like a mixed bag overall, but still found quite a bit to love (The Village Bride, T0-B1, and Lop & Ocho were probably my favorites).
Honestly, "The Elder" was really the only one I was outright bored to tears watching.

Since I'm pretty sure the last movie I saw in theaters pre-lockdown was Heroes Rising, its only fitting that my first visit back in well over a year was to see Josee, the Tiger & the Fish 🧜♀️🐯🐠

Seriously, the lengths TMS went to obscure his face leave me in awe 👏

The undeniable impact of Berserk obviously cannot be overstated, but I remember he also loved promoting other series & artists.
I thought it was the coolest thing when he drew art to celebrate one of Akatsuki no Yona's (a shoujo manga) early volume releases 🥺
First big takeaway from Reincarnation: I’m starting to think that between Umineko and Fata Morgana, Yui Horie just has first dibs on any VN characters named Maria
Ok, pretty much all of the extra Fata Morgana short stories are such beautifully written snapshots and perfectly complement the main tale. Absolutely recommend!
Personal favorites:
1. Fragment/The Revenant's Dream
2. Assento Dele
3. Lost
4. Pain
5. Silent Night, Lonely Night
First Anime: Probably Toei's The Little Mermaid (although My Neighbor Totoro is a very close second)
Last Anime: SK8 the Infinity
Best Anime: Millennium Actress
Worst Anime: A boring answer, but Handshakers is so nausea-inducing, I refuse to include a screenshot here https://t.co/ccYzFMLrK2
Satoko really sat down and binge-watched all of Higurashi '06 before starting the events of Higurashi Gou episode 1, and Ryukishi actually tried to tell people that you could go into Gou completely blind.
