A WIP of a Ruuhtian Jackal I've been drawing upon periodically during MG animation.
So far I've been basing this Jackal heavily off of some of the earlier designs from Halo CE and Halo 2, and there are some hints of dinosaur anatomy thrown in, too.

When I look at the concept art for the brutes in Halo Reach, it fills me with woe because it honestly is a good design. It's just that it wasn't translated into a 3D as well as it could have been, and instead we ended up with a slack-jawed albino Shrek.

Even more weird Halo Sangheili headcanon stuff, this time with the phenotype that represents members of Jul 'Mdama's Covenant Remnant. God I botched the leg proportions lol

The design is very heavily influenced by the Halo 2 Anniversary elites and the oddly humanesque elites from "The Duel". Much like the latter, they mostly move just their lower mandibles when they speak, and have muscular lip-like membranes surrounding their hinged mouthparts.
