Alicia Masters calling out Peter Parker for being a jerk to his date, Deb Whitman, automatically makes for a good comic in my books
Maelstrom and his lackeys feel like a parody of Darkseid and Desaad and the Black Racer and other Kirby concepts, but also are interesting enough that they probably should have stuck around to challenge the Inhumans more often
callback to a time when a strange man could pop out of a bush wearing a trenchcoat and full-face mask and the teenage boy he'd "just like to talk with" just thinks it's weird
idk about other people, but if i ever propositioned my wife like this and she responded with "well, there's nothing on tv i like, so sure, just let me do the dishes first," I would feel like she's not really into it
identity crisis ends way too quickly and i always forget that Peter manages to sort everything out by using a fake identity to lie about finding evidence that exonerates him of the crimes norman framed him for. then he immediately drops the new identities and no one is suspicious
"Hydro-Man? That loser in the black t-shirt?" coming from MJ is especially funny to me because I still think of Hydro-Man in the 90s animated series context as "creepy obsessive ex-boyfriend of MJ's" before I remember that's not canon
