The character's voices feel a little off, especially at the start of the run. It's hard to imagine Ben flirting like this in any other issue.
It was nice to get a new romantic interest for Ben though.
@MastersThePen @DCComics He's got a whole ass "seCreT SiX" now.
The Joker Who Hawkmans, The Joker Who Shazams, The Harley Who Supergirls, The Donna Troy Who They Still Don't Know What To Do With...
As for the aforementioned Annual, it's great too.
Meggan finds herself in the hell dimensions, and instead of absorbing her surroundings as she usually does, she manages to spread her happiness through hell instead, before ultimately finding her way out.
And then, the end. A nice little goodbye page for the characters. I really wanted this comic to keep going. There's been very little of most of these characters since.
Faiza kills Dracula.
He always comes back, but it's still a great moment in a comic full of great moments.
Then we get a big "all the other Marvel UK heroes" page.
(Tangerine? I know of the others, but she's not a real thing, right?)
The big finale! Issue 15. First we get a great reunion of Brian and Meggan.
The Annual, which had come out 2 months earlier, explains how she got there.
Brian and Lady Jac both being great as they launch their counter-attack and she reveals she was never under his thrall.
And, like in "Wisdom," some cultural/political commentary about the kind of people who think Britain was better in the old days. (In this case, they are literal blood-suckers.)
