What's this? 2 issues in the middle of the run about where Black Bolt has been and how he returned, and the art is by Greg Tocchini?
Yes I will let you inject this into my eyeballs, thank you very much.

Medusa's hair here omg
In case it isn't becoming clear, I love the Inhuman Royal Family so much. Medusa and Crystal especially.

A couple of Black Bolt covers by Mark Bagley because someone at Marvel knows just how to turn me on

everyone always out there telling you about things that suck, but I am here to tell you these 4 comics definitely did not suck this week

And because there is no Marvel character who can address grief and loss better than Spider-Man, we get this great backup story about Franklin and Spidey and Uncles and power and responsibility.

And 588, the final issue of this run, is such a great epilogue. I absolutely love well-executed "silent" issues.
The "month of mourning" concept helps to make it feel like the death lasted, too. Sometimes characters come back so fast that the mourning feels disingenuous.

I love the idea of this kid being the most powerful person in the Marvel U, so much that Galactus is afraid of him, but they try so hard to treat him like a normal kid.
That's something I miss in the new series. Teen Franklin using his powers a lot isn't the same.

My favorite thing about the "Three" story, and I loved it when the issues were coming out monthly too, is that every character was in a legit life-or-death situation, and you didn't know who would die.

Another gem of this run, and a great addition to the lore. For their first project, the kids outsmart Reed, and "cure" Ben, but only for ~1 week every year.
Neil Edwards is an underrated artist and I love how much he communicates with Ben's eyes and facial expressions here.

Issue 579 is where Reed formally launches the "Future Foundation", but first he tears a strip off a bunch of old white men and it's a terribly apt commentary on our society now and I wish Reed was real ok?
