Love this Monet moment. I never read Gen X when I was younger, so I know Monet mostly from PAD's X-Factor. She's one of my fave X-people.

Then we get a Punisher story about Pantsgiving, but the real highlight there is, once again, Fin Fang Foom.
Next year they should just do a Fin Fang Foom Christmas special. Who do I pitch that to?

#ChristmasComics Day 16 - Gwenpool Holiday Special: Merry Mix-Up!
I think this is the 2nd newest one on my list, and it's a lot of fun, even if you're not a huge fan of Gwenpool.

Hal asks Larfleeze if there's anything on the list he really "needs" and we get, just, the saddest ending to an otherwise fun story. Way to gut me, Geoff Johns. 💔

One thing I love here is that Millar/Hitch really got the voices of the kids right. Even with Val being super smart, she's excited for Christmas, goading her brother, and just all around acting like a kid.
Also, Franklin complaining about church on Christmas is 100% me as a kid.

#ChristmasComics Days 13 & 14 - Fantastic Four #564 & 565!
Since this was a 2-part story, I decided to spread it over 2 days.
I really like the cover to 564, except for the 4 logo in the upper corner and the "funny" blurb. Let wholesome be wholesome guys.

Devastating ending, as his food supply is destroyed before he can finish his deliveries. But he learns from it, and decides to use the knowledge and skills Pa taught him to teach young people how to plant and grow crops, hoping to foster long-term change.

Rick transforms into CM and helps the couple and baby to a shelter, and then when CM transforms back to Rick, he is magically returned to his proper age - a reward for a good deed.
Taken in an X-Mas context, it's very feel good, even though it lacks overt X-Mas imagery.

It was one of Marvel's "silent" 'Nuff Said issues.
Rick has been rapidly aged to an old man, with seemingly no cure, and a kid with a knife stole one of his Nega Bands, so now he can't even transform into Captain Marvel. He tries to end it all with the knife the kid dropped, but-
