This is a commission requested by a friend. She loves phoenixes and orchids so she asked for the picture to contain both. She identifies a lot with the legendary beast known as a phoenix because she struggles with depression, but always manages to pull through like a champ.

And here is my MAX entry for and I selected Sou-Cee because I identify with her a lot. Growing up, I was lonely, an overachiever who was in the closet about wanting to be a comic creator. It was a very rough and dark time for me.
