Style 20 - Mager Blutooth - Drawing in my style may be the toughest challenge of them all, as I don't have a single art style that I always draw with. My eyes, hands, feet, bodies, and colors always seems to change depending on my mood. So I just drew and vectored normally here.
Style 18 - Himouto - This was the only style that I didn't even have a conceptual idea of before starting, so I watched the whole first season to get an idea. Lucky for me, the leads had a lot of Neal and Yaki energy to reference. #artwork #originalcharacter
Style 17 - #StarVsTheForcesOfEvil - This is the last of the bean-head styles for this challenge. I think this style has the most appeal of the three between the colors and shapes it uses. I like the style of the hands too. #artwork
Style 14 - Gravity Falls - Another bean-head style, but everyone in this one has a runny nose. It's got that sort of sleek "Adventure Time" simplicity to it, backed by some nice clean shapes. The sort of style that catches your eye. #GravityFalls #artwork
Style 11 - Lucky Star - This is another of those shows with attractive and recognizable eyes, so of course the shot I came up with features both characters' eyes shut. Still having issues with this spaghetti-strand lineart. I can't get my lines thin enough. #luckystar #artwork
Style 10 - The World Ends With You - This one was an interesting lesson in line thickness. It's an incredibly stylized design that rides the line between real and appeal. Bold coloring too. #artwork #originalcharacters
After I finished drawing the Carmillas, I thought it'd be fun to try drawing the other end of the phone with @rariatoo's other vampire OCs. Not sure which side I prefer.
@SappySugar I got a link to your contest and wanted to try drawing Claudia. Working with a mostly monochrome character made for an interesting color test. I drew her twice so I could engage in some duality.
