@GothmogPlays @C64Reloaded Pic 4 is ripped off from the maze section in Gryzor!
LOOK at the size of that explosion! This was early 1984 & lots of games still had tiny UDG graphics. This was amazing to see back then - Ad Astra by #GargoyleGames for the #ZXSpectrum #RetroGaming
Nice to see I wasn't the only clown2make this mistake! Got me my 2nd bollocking from Gary Bracey at #OceanSoftware when I did the same thing 4 the music for Arkanoid for the #ZXSpectrum in 1987. Nice to see it was probably only around £200. That was nothing to them! #RetroGaming
@JAMOGRAD It's not Charles Darwin but I think this is a poster to do with the stamps that were issued on 10 Feb 1982. Here's a map of his route on HMS Beagle & it matches the one shown on my wall. I can't find this poster anywhere though.
Well I've found a Stamp Bug calender from 1982 in it. I was into dinosaurs & collecting stamps back then B.C.G (Before Computer Games) & probably had this blutacked to my bedroom wall! #BritishPostOffice #UKStamps
Did the makers of the original #Ghostbusters from 1984 use this BBC sound effect (The Mad Gorilla at 4:56 https://t.co/FuxXmUdIDb ) during the hotel scene where they catch Slimer (at 5:58 https://t.co/G03FhW0tA7 )? Or is it just REALLY similar?
@pjpartridge In reality that didn't happen. I was told but the programmer wasn't ready. I had to wait to actually commence work. Before that I did the Say No To Strangers loading screen, then the #ZXSpectrum & #AmstradCPC loading screens for MagMax. It was a few weeks later. #OceanSoftware
@RetroGamer_Mag The Legend of Avalon by Steve Turner - a whole strange & mystical world loaded in from a tape containing 48k of data. Amazing to experience this for the 1st time as a 14 year old in 1984. Just what I bought my #ZXSpectrum for
