Letters from @dc_litchfield @vivschwarz @Benji_Davies @hilary_mckay @LaytonNeal @joempson @jonagee @RooneyRachel and many more. Worth sharing widely. Thanks so much @ChildrensBkShow - I look forward to taking my time reading these. I have enjoyed letter-writing myself recently.
I've been writing on the history of children's literature in education these past few months & am inspired by the work of Leila Berg. She is very much worth celebrating. Do take the time to read this brief yet informative piece from @britishlibrary https://t.co/aKnY2EXUVG
@brookes_edu students are sharing all their cross-curricular planning around a quality text. This Y3 plan is from @missbrydon1 & features QR codes + a video interview with the author. I love how Amy made her own blanket too https://t.co/1mS8H6tTlj #MyTwoBlankets
Research drew me to this wonderful piece on writing for children from Jill Paton Walsh. 'Not everything can be said for children: not everything can be explained to them. But once it is not clogged up by hesitation and pretension almost anything can be told to them as a story.'
This looks beautiful @cb4yr https://t.co/cOnQ25XpJa (@RebeccaLucas ) one for you too.
@BevronFactor Hi Steven! I can recommend some that touch on it. Sadly, the @BookIslandBooks is out of print but do some hunting as it's very worth it! The Mem Fox & Julie Vivas is outstanding. Hwyl!
Really (italics) enjoying @GalwayMr recent blog on recent book releases here (https://t.co/dugVBn62Rz) Context to why so many good books published in one go here: (https://t.co/hcPhc2uv5g) (1 of a few)
Time to revisit my little Hilda collection @nobrowpress @FlyingEyeBooks @thatlukeperson Every kid should adventure with her
