I’ve missed the last couple of #SundayFishSketch challenges. I was still short on time really didn’t want to miss a 3rd; especially when the brief was #Placoderms
An other crazy week means that I've pretty much missed all of #FossilFishWeek so I'm going to dive in at the last minute with a bumper contribution.
I use every tool available to me to engage my daughter in science, including illustration.#AnimalArtistsUnite
For this #TaxonomyTuesday Matilda has finally noticed that we have been overlooking the bugs and asked for a #FieldGrasshopper. Her realisation means that we can finally add some phyla and a kingdom to our #MapOfLife
After losing everything when my computer died last week I've had to rebuild the #MapOfLife from scratch. But it's allowed me to make some improvements and correct some errors in the old one. Oh, and add the #EuropeanHedgehog as requested by Matilda.
Matilda took more time on this than any other #SundayFishSketch
This isn’t the first time that she’s traced an image for the outline, but this is the most careful that she has been.

For #TaxonomyTuesday this week Matilda requested a #carpetchameleon which meant that I needed to do a bit of rearranging. I don't mind admitting I got a bit confused. The bad news for me is that it's only going to get worse from here!
In typical Matilda fashion, having been excited to draw a triggerfish for today’s #Sundayfishsketch she then changed her mind and has now done a yelloweye filefish.
This #TaxonomyTuesday Matilda has asked for a "Salty" to be added to our #MapOfLife so we now have our first true reptile to join the party, the #SaltwaterCrocodile
