(I love how in the Cait Sith one they didn't even have a higher-res version of the Golden Saucer laying around and just kinda upscaled the one from the game)
As I've been promoting CROSSNIQ+, I've had a lot of ppl ask me: why y2k?
I wanted to talk for a little bit about why this aesthetic struck a particular cord with me, why I chose it for CROSSNIQ+, and why I feel like a y2k renaissance is something we need rn.

@kinucakes Have you checked out any other work by the character designer on this game? He went by sonehati in the late 90's and he did some pretty wild stuff
