I love hand-drawing game sprites! It is so fast, no clicking control points with a mouse, just freehand with a marker, scanned into photoshop, and fed into unity! total time from idea to in-game asset: one coffee

had a fun idea to make sun rays / light shafts to add depth to our awesome jungle level in BattleSpace Invasion, an arcade shoot-em-up being made by and the whole community, so I drew this texture in photoshop and made this particle system!

very excited to be just starting a doom / titanfall inspired FPS game because we are going to try to go for AAA inpired ultra detail!

we'll use the "low poly blockmesh with many quad decals for fake geometry detail" approach* for rivets/trims/greebles
