#gamedev is so fun when you use hand drawn art! just inked some pencil sketches, time to colour them in using photoshop (I turn it all into non-antialiased hd 1-bit (b&w) bitmaps for pixel-perfect area selections using a 0 tolerance magic wand) a super fast workflow!
Did not complete my Ludum Dare game by the deadline! Weekend jams are too short. Regardless, I had so much fun! Connecting with the #ldjam community was awesome, and I enjoyed doing a tons of drawing this weekend!

started working on the spritesheet for Folx in the Hood, a city-building tycoon sim game where you are a city planner in charge of an abandoned lot and build a park and save the community! #screenshotsaturday
I love "ESLINT" (in vscode) turned on while I code! it's like spellcheck in gdocs giving you little squiggly red lines on spelling mistakes while you type, live! little warnings pop up while coding, to me it is a delight and adds to the vscode experience a lot, highly recommended
a fun way to make pixel art is design in magicavoxel and render with no aa using an ortho cam; you can make a spritesheet with any number of camera angles, animate, etc here's a 16x16 sprite I did as a test for a new #gamedev project
