Will stop for today. I realized along the way that he actually got a medal on his tailcoat with an animal on it. Most likely a wolf. Only the tailcoat and the undercoat are left. I already know what I'm gonna use for the rest so he should be done tomorrow.

Final details for the face. Had to do some more changes on the eyes. I didn't realize they used a method similar to Overwatch for the eyelashes. Kinda satisfied with the way it looks. Got a lot of space to add wrinkles around the eyes, mouth and forehead.

Now that I'm better at texturing, it's time to finally finish Valk ! Don't mind the colors or the shaders, they are just placeholders to have an idea of the final result.
Only need to finish the shirt, undercoat, the pants and do his ribbon and it's texture time.

Remade the whole face.
Issue with the previous drawing was that the proportions between the chin and the nose were too high and the left eye was lower.
I still think there is something a bit odd about it but can't quite figure it out yet.

Pixel Art Day 1:
I planned to study other pixel artists a bit then practice for 30 minutes. Ended up spending 4 hours ! Not satisfied with it but that was still very fun.

I did it by studying @lunar_dignity and @MarukiHurakami 's art styles. Shoutout to Maruki for their help !

I really like the texture I did with the sand but I dislike the rocks. I just can't figure out a way to make them look interesting. Bottom right sand is done with a far softer shader.

@senorDane @saphicSpadassin @sneakyerz On the left, without baked lighting. On the right, with baked lighting. Model got around 1k poly which is way lower than what you would want from a character in a low poly game. Third picture is with some more effects. All of them are directly textures. No shaders or anything.

Been trying various things lately so I haven't posted much. Wanted to test projection with an old model I had. Practiced texturing his skin too while I was at it.
