In Greek Mythology, Pyraustas was an insect-sized dragon from Cyprus. The tiny dragon lived in the fire and turned to stone instantly if it went away from the flames. According to the tradition one of them lived in the Avakas Gorge.🐉🔥

Did you know that the civilization and people of what is known in English as Greece have never referred to themselves as “Greek”? In fact they called their land Hellas and themselves Hellenes from Hellen, the mythical ancestor of all the Hellenes (Greeks).
