Speaking of chapter 700, as the series' final sendoff, it showed a distant finale with a "where are they now" feeling, mostly focusing on what couples characters had ended up in as their "final" scene.

Kakashi's final appearance in the manga was spent with Gai.

I just realized it looks sort of like Kakashi is giving Gai a little kiss on the cheek in this picture

Neji didn't get to go with Kakashi and Team Gai to the festival in that one episode, so I'm happy seeing him in festival garb now~ I'm sure there were other festivals he got to go to together with Tenten and Lee!
