Sonic Rush feels like the perfect evolution to the 2D Genesis games because you can see a slow progression to it

Just look at Advance 1. It basically just played like a Genesis Sonic game but with modern designs. Advance 2 added in elements that would carry over to Rush. (cont.)

Hyper Sonic is such an overhyped form

In terms of story buildup, it's... definitely built up how a Classic game would lead up to it, ig. Idk, it's just anticlimactic to use imo.

Visually, it's ok. Nothing special though, just rainbow Super Sonic essentially.
