@saintwalker98 I mean I can see a version of that story that they went with working well on screen, with maybe Jane and Gorr having a parallel in being upset about the hand they were felt, but dealing with them in different ways, and make it a more somber, twisted sort of thing.
It's like Thor: Ragnarok was if you went to a nice new restaurant and the meal was delicious, and you still remembered it fondly five years later, so you went back and the place was a little run down, and you order the exact same thing, but it tasted like Thor: Love & Thunder.

I know I'm late the the party, but I just finished the first season of Genndy Tartakovsky's primordial fantasy series, Primal, and it was just tremendous! Equal parts brutal and poignant.
