u ever just trying to chill out and pine dramatically under a rock when suddenly ur alien fanclub shows up and is like "bro wait up wait up bro bro wait wait wait up bro waaait" and totally kills the vibes wtf
this is an interesting example of how japanese and english sentence structure differing makes a translation awkward, since he points at the center of the star chart while saying "boazan-sei yori..." instead of when "earth" is said/on screen
im impressed by how accurate the levels are tbh like the secretr house is almost perfect BUT they forgot enemies and eveything in this room LMAO. no eeries... rip
That said though, I do even like that they give them 2 more traditional spooky dolls. Necro is adorable, she parodies the bloodless state of being a doll, whereas Bisque just goes for the more basic cracked face which feels... well, more forlorn than anything, you know? I like it
That's not to say that there's no value to grotesque dolls - I love grotesqueries of course - but I think a fundamental value of dolls is that they're not alive and so they're just about the SHAPE of humanity put together in weird ways, they don't have to fake being life
Something I particularly like about the Gimmick Puppets is that they appeal to this "disgusting through sheer detail" aspect - where something is so fiddly that it feels like teeming ants or smth and is hard to resolve into shape nicely.
Whereas Tabitha, who's sort of a generically engineered experiment weirdo rich girl who does what she wants n what she likes is playing soldiers and murdering, sucks ASS at command so her command zone range is literally 0 (just her unit she's in) but she gives it +50%/+50% LOL
