Like, Paladin's Quest (Lennus in Jpn) is very garish and MS Painty, but I'm obsessed with it too. I love the blue "trees" and the weird buildings and etc and just how willing it is to be its own game

It has this really neat art style where it's like. Paladin's Quest is like, honestly ugly but in a pretty unique and interesting way? And instead of looking more normal Lennus II doubled down and kept the weirdness but added a unique shading style. It feels from a diff lineage
