Since today is #NationalCartoonistsDay, here’s some illustrious and amazing work from one of my favorite artists, Ronald Searle!
Personally I find the original book by William Steig to be very charming AND appealing.
It’s a day early, but Happy birthday, @duck_twacy!
Here’s to another year of ducks, Pigs, and overall just making me and our friends smile!
Thanks for some laughs, and I hope for some more!
The best part about the Spring Equinox is finally sharing these beautiful backgrounds from cartoons! https://t.co/C3a1hkboY7
I absolutely love this original concept design of Topo from “Neapolitan Mouse” (1954).
Here are some Searle designs from the movie!
A beautiful mix of appealing and grotesque...
I think the inking and the shapes are what makes Searle’s style tick.
Happy birthday @aalong64! I can’t wait to see what you do next! Keep it up!
Time to join the bandwagon! Post 4 older pieces of art you’re still proud of!
I felt like I’d show 2 from 2019 and 2 from 2020.
I personally feel like the art I made from mid-2020 was where I finally started to get more stylized, and get to an artistic groove. https://t.co/WXyhWj5zio
