18. FIRESTAR. One-shot. Still mad it didn't launch a series because there's so much weight here, with Angelica doing the superhero thing and trying to rebuild relationships with family, all while in the midst of undergoing cancer treatment.
14. AVENGERS: RED ZONE. Red Skull comes back to try his hand at chemical warfare and Black Panther beats his big red racist ass. And Wanda turns a whole town into a pentagram for rad witch shit. That's my Scarlet Witch, right there.
Next, HALLOWEEN: 30 YEARS OF TERROR. This one’s an anthology full of great little vignettes. It’s basically “22 Short Films About Haddonfield.” Only, less than that.
NIGHTDANCE beat HALLOWEEN ‘18 to the punch on the “Michael makes a Jack o’ Lantern out of a human head” front.
Per suggestion, I’m embarking on a (pretty short) PUMPKINHEAD comic binge. Starting with the first issue of the Dark Horse miniseries, THE RITES OF EXORCISM.
@ryanlarson Oooh, that's a good one.
1. Firestar
2. Spider-Woman
3. Moon Knight
4. Echo
5. Crystal
X-Men thought: I want Firestar & Pyro on a team together, because I really love the idea of having a person act as the flamethrower and having to learn to work in tandem with someone who is your complete opposite.
I love all FRIGHT NIGHT so much that I even love the issue of the comic book where Charley is turned into a wolf (not a werewolf, a regular one) and Peter's able to just see the anxiety in the wolf's eyes and say "That's McFuckin Charley"
