I think people forget how terrifying Illya actually is due to all the art work and how she acts later in the series. Nasu and Takeuchi did a really good job of subverting expectations with the little sister archetype in Illya.

If Netflix is going to start adapting every popular anime/manga I would love it if they tried to adapt Monster. That’s the one series that is incredibly ripe for live action and would have tons of potential.

Finished Spider-Woman by Dennis Hopeless and Javier Rodriguez and it’s one of the best comic series I’ve ever read. It perfectly balances the mundane and the fantastical to take Jessica on a journey of what it means to be a mother and how she can balance that with being a hero.

The relationship between Kagura and Gintoki is one of the best relationships in Gintama. It is on one hand a wholesome father daughter relationship that brings great and organic comedy to the show but they also inspire each other to be better people.

I’m so happy so many people are appreciating how amazing of a series Garden of Sinners is.

While I’m not the biggest fan of horror I really appreciate how various TM works lean into the horror genre especially visually to create a disconcerting atmosphere for the viewer.
