Many of Nightwing's gadgets lend themselves to stealth, including his gas grenades, which can obscure vision, or put villains to sleep. Paired with these is of course a gas mask.
Nightwing's gauntlets have been used in a variety of ways, often serving as a portable computer, communicator, and GPS.
Next, his suit. The Nightwing suit has undergone a lot of aesthetic changes, but it's consistently been a triple weave nomex/kevlar body armor. It's heated during the cold, bullet resistant, flame resistant, and can electrocute enemies.
Love it or hate it, Dixon's Nightwing is the foundation for almost all modern Nightwing stuff, including the overemphasis on his looks and love life. These panels intentionally misrepresent his relationships with Kory, Donna, Miggie, and Emily.
