I had to put red Nightwing, but that's alright. https://t.co/7lD9tYQI69
@steventothemaxx Well, he was generally preferred in Gotham to Bruce, by Gordon's cops and the general public. He's consistently portrayed as faster than Bruce, and capable of winning the same fights and solving the same cases Bruce solves. He's also been a better leader since his Robin days.
Parallels: Nightwing jumping into freefall to stop a rocket in The Titans (1999) #12 and Batman launching himself onto a crashing plane in Batman (2016) #1 by @TomKingTK
Rebirth and Post Metal subtly updating and redesigning classic JSA costumes is really good.
@celestialkory This is probably my favorite outfit of his, from Nightwing #141
From Nightwing #49, by @Benjamin_Percy. I wonder if this was set-up for Event Leviathan? I think this came out before @BRIANMBENDIS had joined DC but I honestly can't remember.
Happy #InternationalWomensDay
Also, @DCComics I wouldn't be opposed to bringing back Nightstar and permanently adding her to the main universe...
I talk about how serious Dick is a lot, because most fans pretend he's a happy-go-lucky, not a care in the world goofball and I hate that.
That said...this is my favorite Robin panel (one of the few post 2011 that I really like).
With all this car talk, and Robin's 80th anniversary, it's worth mentioning that while Tim Drake's Redbird was a mainstay of his tenure, Dick had his own Robin mobile for one issue (Batman #101)
