Yeah, this is pretty cursed.

Was curious if I could load HD Edition textures into the PS2 version of Metal Gear Solid 3, and the result is pretty cool!

@athena64ttv I'm a purist to a fault about this stuff, but I would be fine with minor QOL stuff in a rerelease (e.g. 16:9 support), provided it's optional and/or doesn't change the game experience fundamentally. It's just funny to even consider because emulation solved this problem ages ago.

So @RAZ0RFIST, this reads as a dunk, but I'm happy to talk. Write me off as a "Kojima fanboy" or whatever, but that just shows you don't know me. I've followed MG since '89. I'm critical and know what I'm talking about.

But I don't know Japanese, which you speak and read.
