Veteran illustrator Paul Mann was commissioned to create the sleeve artwork for the vinyl soundtrack releases for Metal Gear (MSX & NES), and the result is a near-perfect encapsulation of the essence of the source material. I'm curious if he'll also make Metal Gear 2's album art.

One that may have been lost to time could only be obtained by visiting a WonderGOO retail location in Japan, where they would load it onto your memory card (8MB) (for PlayStation®2).
They've proven that they don't give much consideration to visual language, and that they can readily afford to do so because generic, high fidelity graphics are all you need to impress general audiences and sell millions of copies.
