I still use lots of squares and sharp angles in my art.
My reason for abandoning this work? SCOPE. If I make my character more detailed, I have to make everything more detailed. Things can get out of hand quickly. Nothing kills more indie games than poor scope management! (5/7)
The first environment test. I knew Santicado would be a post-apocalyptic setting, but I wanted to avoid the nuclear explosions and zombie hordes associated with that. This would be a quiet apocalypse - one where people just didn't wake up. The environments would be calm. (4/7)
