@jpalmiotti @mymixtapez What ever happened to The Rock playing Doc Savage? The man was born for that role and---I don't know---the older he gets, the more it just makes sense. Give him money, a ripped shirt and let him say the oath. Rock as 007 is akin to hammering a square peg into a circular hole.
@BoundingComics Big publishers are on an ongoing campaign designed to "chip away" and "piss off the right people." They've been cultivating this environment for years. Brick and mortar can't survive on a shrinking niche. I'd be a pessimist, but we all know comics will survive outside the Big 2.
@AllNewBenji Well, that's the thing... Every popular character, at some point, was fresh. New characters and franchises debut all the time. Some are more successful than others, but that's up to the fans. Characters miss out on that time tested process.
Overwriting is laziness on DC's end.
@thelucentcomic Clayton is a beast. I couldn't pick up the Todd McFarlane Spawn comics due to religious parents (demonic stuff was forbidden), but, once I was old enough, Crain's work really caught my eye. His pencils are tight, but once he started going for a more painterly feel... wooo!
@petersimeti Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes
Power Puff Girls
Static Shock
Dragon Ball Z
I would've put Batman (TAS), but I honestly believe that show was strong enough for primetime. Maybe along with Superman (TAS). Call it "World's Finest Hour."
Works in progress... #WIP
The #NightmareOnElmStreet piece is a late #Halloween thing that turned into a labor of love. Kratos is a commission from the ever patient @FGCKratos. The #PowerpuffGirls piece has been wonderful, concerning streaming the process exclusively on #Twitch.
@RyanOttley Just between you and me, I'd almost kill to see you on a Hulk title.
